When you connect the integration, you get a free 1-month trial, limited to sending 50 WhatsApp + 50 SMS messages.

From a computer, laptop or tablet, open Integrations, select the Notifications section to select the WAxSMS integration

In the Information or Plans section, click the Connect button to get started and start a free trial:

Agree to the connection and click Continue:

To connect WhatsApp and SMS accounts, use the buttons in the Settings section:

1. Connecting a WhatsApp account

(to connect your WhatsApp account to the integration, just scan the QR code from your WhatsApp Business application)

To do this, you need to open the WhatsApp Business application on your iPhone or Android phone and find “Linked devices” in the menu section and click the “Link a device” button.The phone camera will open and you need to hover over the QR code from the integration and wait for a success message from WhatsApp, as well as create a name for the connected device. (The QR code is updated every 15 seconds)After scanning the QR code, the integration will be automatically connected and your WhatsApp account will be ready for use, as indicated by the message in the integration:

2. If You need SMS channel - Connect the SMS app to your Android device.

3. Cascade sending of WhatsApp - SMS messages.

(if the recipient does not use WhatsApp, the integration will use the SMS channel)

Use the enable button to activate cascade massaging and press SAVE

4. Customize notifications

All settings and message texts should be edited in the ALTEGIO Knowledge Base → Settings → Notifications → Notification types (link to the instructions) 

The WAxSMS integration sends all messages in the Altegio system via WhatsApp or SMS channels. To send messages via WhatsApp or SMS, in the General settings section, be sure to activate SMS in the Always Send mode.

You can edit the message texts for each event in the section - Notification templates
